Mark Galup has spent a career in pursuit of one thing: sound that moves people.

As an award-winning engineer, producer, and sound designer, Mark has worked across music, media, and major label projects with artists and clients including Steve Earle, Margo Price, Allen Stone, Better Than Ezra, Quincy Jones, Mariah Carey, Sony, Audible, Kobalt, and more.

Galup Mastering is his private facility — built piece by piece with custom and modified equipment chosen for one reason: it sounds incredible. The analog chain runs through the legendary Neve Disk Mastering and Sontec equalizers, a custom equalizers and a tube limiter by Frank Lacy, and rare devices sourced after years of searching. The signal path is full-fidelity and uncompromising — hardware chosen by ear because nothing else sounds quite like it.

Mark’s analog chain is built around custom equalizers and a tube limiter expertly built by the great Frank Lacy (Lucas Engineering, JFL Audio), along with the legendary Sontec, and Neve Disk Mastering equalizers. Using this full-fidelity pure path, with color pieces injected when desired, your music is preserved and enhanced to new levels of sonic impact and clarity.
